Carlo Ancelotti has expressed his feelings about the tragedy that has befallen Valencia over the past week due to Storm Dana sportnews.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has issued a heartfelt statement regarding the tragedy caused by Storm Dana in Valencia and Andalusia. Which has left many dead, UFABET  Diario AS reported on Monday.

‘Good morning, this week there was a tragedy and we feel sad. This is the feeling of sadness, this is the feeling that comes. We are close to Valencia and all the cities that are affected. We are close to them and we hope that it will be resolved soon. I want you to understand that talking about football is complicated, playing football is also complicated. We are part of this country and this affects us a lot.’

Ancelotti said:

‘Out of respect for everyone, I will try to keep the press conference as simple as possible because I have no desire to talk about football. Also for me, tomorrow is a special game. I will try to say as little as possible. Thank you,’

The Italian coach also stressed that football is now secondary to them given the country’s massive disaster.

‘Yes, because you don’t think about your job. It’s very bad. We will prepare because we are professionals. We will try to play and win. That’s what is needed.’

Players and coaches have been vocal in their opposition to La Liga’s decision to continue with last weekend’s league games. With Valencia v Real Madrid and Villarreal v Rayo Vallecano both postponed.

‘Everyone in football is clear about that. No one wants to play and it doesn’t make sense to play. But we are not the ones giving orders. We are professionals and that’s our job. The decision makers are the top people.’

‘There are many ways to help. Football has to stop this weekend, then football has to help.’

‘Football is a party. When people don’t want to go to a party. I don’t think we should have a party. When your family is well and everyone is well. When people are not well, there is no need to party. Football has to stop. For me, yes, because it is the most important thing in the unimportant things. But we cannot decide. We are not in control.’
